Liverpool Biennial provides 'umbrella' strategic co-ordination to several organisations and exhibition programmes that make up the festival.  Liverpool Biennial is responsible for the organisation and financing of three core areas:

and still is the only Rio style bateria.  We are also involved with social projects e.g. sending computers to Rio, so children in brazil can make contact with children on Merseyside.

The Royal Court Theatre is built in the Art Deco style. There are three viewing levels within the main auditorium: the Stalls, the Grand Circle and the Balcony
Since The Comedy Trust took over, the building has been extensively refurbished - most particularly in the stalls which has been converted into cabaret style seating with tables for drinks and easy access for waiters and waitresses. The Comedy Trust runs the Rawhide Comedy Club every weekend from September - July .Touring comedy and music shows come to the venue throughout the year and comedy plays run during the summer.

We provide help and support to refugees and asylum seekers. Our recreation facilities are movie and musical video, cultural celebration and musical promotion, traditional songs and commentary on Congolese Culture.
We also offer counselling, advice on housing and other welfare benefits, interpreting and translation, referrals and community links services.
