The Liverpool Big Screen is a 26-metre square giant digital display in Clayton Square Liverpool, which actively encourages submissions from artists across the region for display to a passing footfall of 60,000 persons per weekday; rising to 100,000 at the weekend. Although primarily seeking digital video material we also accept still images and may be able to faciliatate 'video diary'-type expositions of other forms of craftsmanship. Our interactive programme is building swiftly and enquiries from developers and programmers are also welcomed. We work in close collaboration with the Liverpool Biennial, FACT, local artistic agencies and with the continued support of Arts Council England; for whom we continue to host successful bespoke and touring commissions across the BBC Big Screen network.

The focus of the work I am currently involved with has environmental recycling of waste glass from a variety of household sources at its core. The glass is cleaned, broken down and then used as a raw material to fill hand made individual plaster/flint waste mould. These are then kiln fired to produce glass casts, which for this project are glass casts of house bricks.
